I have a really bad phobia of snails. I cant walk outside after rain cause i might see one. i'm thinking snailophobia.
I have a phobia of snails and slugs. I can't walk outside in the dark because I might step on one. I always carry a flashlight in my purse so that I can see where I am walking at night. There were times when it was raining that my husband had to carry me to the house because there were just too many snails out. I can't even touch a picture of one in a book when reading to my kids. I'm always very aware of where my hand is when turning the page. I hate the rain because it brings out the snails. I don't like going into hot tubs at night because I know the water draws the snails and slugs. If I do have an unfortunate encounter, I will cry for hours. There was one time when I stepped on a snail, went running in the house freaking out, kicked my shoes off, and never wore them again.
I am sooooooo scared of slugs! you know when you step on one and it goes squish? It goes through me! If its been raining and I have to walk somewhere in the dark with no light shining on the ground, I get panick attacks and all sorts! I've resorted to taking a mini torch with me or using my lighter! Anyone else the same? Its gotta be slugphobia, hasn't it?!
