Fear of Dying and Having Pets Blame Themselves: Okay, another odd one. This started upon my reading of a story in which a woman died of cancer and her cat was so distraught that she never left the grave and eventually died there. So now I am afraid that whenever I die my pets will somehow blame themselves and will live the rest of their lives in guilt.
