I have a fear of mustard. I have pretty much the same reaction to it as the Ketchup people. Anyone I tell just laughs and immediately bugs me about it, as if I'm joking. But I guess that's what happens to everyone with phobias. I thought it was really weird until someone I know told me about one of the DVD extras on Jackass (The movie) where one of the guys in the movie has the same phobia. I'm glad to see I'm not alone. Your website was the first reference to the mustard phobia I could find on the internet. Good job!

I was watching a television show on phobias, and I wondered if my phobia was documented. I have a raging fear of mustard, the smell, and taste of it makes me scream, cry, shake, etc. I can't recall where or why I have this phobia, but the older I get the worst it becomes. I was shocked to see that others have this stupid phobia. Just thought I'd share my fear with you and see if you could give it a name.

I have a fear of mustard. I hate it!! My brothers used to chase me around the house with it when I was younger because I was so scared of it. I cannnot even have it in my fridge. I wait tables and If someone requests mustard I have to have someone else take it to my table. Yuck! I cannot be around anyone eating it without being grossed out. I am glad to see that I am not the only strange person scared of mustard.
