i have several major phobias including fear of midgets-i think its due to a mean janitor i had in grade school or possibly due to the wiily wonka and the chocolate factory movie with that "ooompa ooompa ompadie omp ive got another puzzle for you" they were absolutely deranged looking that movie to me would be like a chainsaw murder movie to most people.
I agree with the kid that was afraid of the Oompa Lumpas. I know migits are people but they are scary looking. I used to have dreams about them when I was young. Once at Six Flags, I saw one and started bawling.
Also, my friend and I are minorly phobic of midgets. He’s more afraid of them than I am, although it’s the same to some extent. He’s had really weird dreams about being chased by midgets…and don’t even MENTION the Oompa Loompas. I don’t have a problem with the Oompa Loompas and I haven’t had any weird dreams, but sometimes they just scare me.
Hey I really like your site! I just wanted to let you know some, among many, of my fears… I’m afraid of getting something stuck between your teeth and then using dental floss to try and get it out… but that gets stuck too, so then you use a toothpick to try to get them both out… but then…. that gets stuck too! Im also afraid of to go in public places because of the fear of midgets, but not just any midgets, bald midgets….
ok...im afraid of driving off of the edge of a bridge n drowning in my car..im afraid of midgets..falling ..vantriliquist dolls...the whole "Freddy" syndrome...dreams coming alive.... n most of all....ANY INANIMATE OBJECT COMMING TO LIFE AND TRYING TO KILL ME. ..if im home alone or somewhere by myself...i am in a constant anxiety attack looking aorund to make sure nothing is moving towards me...it totaly sucks.....n im 21.. i cant sleep alone....or be by myself for long periods of time....i cry n shake n cant breath. its actualy quite terrible. ne advice or info names or whatnot would be sooo appreciated ty :)~
I had an unusual experience that caused me to become afraid of midgets. I don’t want to say the details of this experience in order to protect the innocent. I used to fear midgets, but now they anger me more than anything. Probably because I see them ALL THE TIME! But they still scare the hell out of me. True story - my best friend and his wife and my girlfriend were witnesses to it. I actually saw 5 midgets in 2 days near Las Vegas! I am writing this on 12/30/03 and I personally have seen 4 midgets this month. I seem to be infecting my family and friends too. Between my parents, three friends, and my girlfriend, we have seen a total of 11 midgets since 12/6/03. That's an approximate average of 2.2 midgets per day!!!! If I may, I do have a hypothesis -- there is an explanation for my observation, phenomenon, or scientific problem, whatever you want to call it. The media society has created a mythical understanding of extraterrestrial biological entities visiting Earth. This understanding stems from the preponderance of the evidence that they may in deed exist; however, it scientifically has not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. I think midgets or dwarfs may be the element necessary to meet the requirement of reasonable doubt. Hear me out now -- here are some unusual correlations that others have witnessed as well. There are 2 specific areas where I have seen several midgets - 4 at Best Buy stores and 1 at CompUSA; 8 in Las Vegas, and you know what is near Las Vegas -- Area 51. Nowthis is all in the past year I have seen this. My hypothesis? There is a correlation between extraterrestrial entities (aliens) and genetic anomalies (also known as midgets or dwarfs). Little green men from Mars my ass! Notice how the visual concept of aliens is small life forms with large heads and eyes? Aliens presumptively are more technologically advanced than human biological entities. I believe aliens are among us, living and breathing as so called "humans." Midgets act like they are normal, going to college, becoming attorneys, going to shopping malls, gambling in Las Vegas.... basically doing things that normal people do. But...they just aren’t right! It is alarmingly suspicious to me. Aliens are subtly trying to infiltrate educational, economical, and recreational realms of normal society. And, they are using our own technology against us and we don’t even know it! Best Buy and CompUSA employees must become vigilant and be aware of their surroundings. These midgets, dwarfs, little people...they are not humans with growth deprivations, they are extraterrestrial biological entities disguised in a manner just enough to make people stare, but regular humans have socially accepted them. That is exactly what they want -- it is imminent genetic Armageddon and the human species is in jeopardy. It may not happen in this generation, or the next, but something is going on and I intend to prove it. They make me sick to my stomach.
i was in reno nevada recently and saw the scariest midget ever. he was in a wheelchair and hit on guys. i also found out that he was in fact an oompa loompa in willie wonka. the midget was old and i was scared cause i thought that midgets really didnt live that long!
