Hi. I have an extreme fear of pet fish getting out of their water and being unable to help them while they flop around and die. I'm not afraid of fish, just this situation. I didn't realize how bad it was until due to an injury my husband couldn't change the fish's water. The fish slid out of his hand onto the counter, flopping around, and I started cry hysterically. I felt totally out of control and terrified. It was very weird. How about Aerokinesoichthyophobia - fish moving around in the air? Thanks.
'm deathly scared of Large fish...i don't like goin in lakes or oceans because i'm scared a Large fish will touch me...it's really weird...but true I'm also scared of going on boats but i think it's because i'm scared they'll sink and a large fish or shark or somethign will touch me I'm scared of strange/weird people touching me...so i'm scared of things touching me pretty much. I have hate my foods to touch one another...cuz i'm just compulsive like that.
I have a fear of fish larger than say about a foot long. But, only when seen swimming. When I was young my father took me to a bait and tackle shop that had an aquarium inside. They had a 40’ long fresh water Gar. My father took me to the top and picked me up, held me over the water and (jokingly) said he was going to feed me to this thing. To this day I’m afraid of big fish. I once saw a sturgeon at an aquarium and went into hysterics. Why did I go to an aquarium? Well, I have kids and I didn’t want them to miss out and well you know. Large sea creatures and sea turtles do the same thing to me. I really lose it if I have to look up and see them swim above me.
Fish out of water- I love to fish but catching them and bringing them out of water onto dry land gives me the heebie jeebies. It freaks me out to see them flop around.
