I have a phobia of corn - loose or on the cob, either are quite scary. It all started when I was on a short vacation with my primary school, and the Outward Bound place we went to had a strict "clear your plate" policy. I disliked most vegetables, being only around 10 at the time, but found that they weren't all that bad after all. Only the corn really still made me fell queasy - just personal taste - but the feeling of revulsion when we were all forced to eat it has never left me. I can't look at it without feeling nauseous, I fell nervous if anyone close by is eating it, or even when my family ate it, I can't touch/clean the plates or utensils used to cook it. Thanks for providing a forum for other like minded nut-jobs to share their phobias!
