I would first off like to say I'm not a neurotic freak. However I DO have a few phobias people think are unusual. Fear of spontaneous human combustion - I'm afraid of spontaneous human combustion and anything having to do with it... I have a morbid fear of this, but I'm fascinated at the same time. So I'll watch TV shows about it, heart racing, sweaty palmed, but eyeballs glued to the screen.
Hello, I too have a fear of spontaneous human combustion. Sometimes I feel an isolated area of my body getting extremely hot and am convinced it's about to happen. This can be an area of my arm or leg etc, just a small patch which feels like it's burning very suddenly. I usually tell whoever I'm with in a panic - just in case it happens & my 'advance warning' will help future research into the phenomenon. This experience doesn't happen very often, every couple of months but it sure scares me when it does.
